Decline to Sign Abortion PetitionPosted: 2024-02-21 [EAN NOTE: The following is copied from an email from Protect Arizona Children Coalition sent on 2-20-24]
A group called Arizona for Abortion Access is currently collecting signatures to get an up to birth permanent abortion amendment called The Arizona Abortion Access Act on the 2024 ballot. If passed, what would this ballot initiative do?
- permanently enshrine abortion THROUGH ALL NINE MONTHS UP TO BIRTH in the AZ Constitution
- completely ERADICATE PARENTAL RIGHTS so that an abortion could be performed on a child of any age without parental knowledge or consent
- ERASE ANY CURRENT PROTECTIVE MEASURES in place such as the ultrasound requirement, 24-hour waiting period, abortion risk education, or alternatives to abortion such as adoption
- is ANTI-WOMAN in every sense including that it never uses the words woman, mother, or female but instead refers to moms as “individuals”
